Continuing down the Alaska Highway we stayed a couple days in Dawson Creek taking care of a few things and then made a trip to Beaverlodge to visit with Iva. We took in the Beaverlodge Days celebrations complete with fireworks and a parade.
After spending a couple days there we returned via Dawson Creek and took the route through Chetwynd, Prince George and the Fraser Canyon to return home.
Great trip but we were glad to get home and see Michael, Nicole and Emma again.

This is the Apha Pool the Beta Pool was closed due to bear season. Also the composting toilet was not functional so nothing at the pools. It was nice to see nice new decking and change-rooms since the last time we had visited.

July 31st - Aug 2 Dempster Highway - Tombstone - Arctic Circle
We camped at Tombstone Yukon Park (in fact we left our 5th wheel there and drove to the Arctic Circle 300 km more each way)
Because of the distance involved we stayed over at the Eagle Plains Hotel. We had considered possibly carrying on to Inuvik but the weather and road condition was not quite good enough, Oh well another trip.
