June 25th to June 30th 2015 Stewart Cassier Highway

Mary and Chris left us the next morning catching the ferry to Port Hardy and we did the necessary laundry and restocking the trailer to continue our adventure. After spenting one more night in Prince Rupert we set off.

We travelled up the Stewart Cassier Highway and stayed one night in a free campsite at Kitwanga.
Next stop was at Meziadin Lake Provincial Park for 2 nights. During the day we travelled to Stewart and Hyder visiting the Bear and Salmon Glaciers.

 Bear along road
 Boya Lake

  1. Meziadin and Boya lakes along with Stewart/Hyder are still on my bucket list as we had to cut our trip short in 2012.

  2. Great pictures...brings back memories. I was there at least 20 years ago visiting a friend that lived in Stewart. Funny how that little area of Hyder is Alaska but you can't go further into the state. Gorgeous scenery.
