July 12th Denali National Part - Part 2

On the next day we took part in a ranger led hike to see the parks dog show. On the way we were treated to a view of a cow moose and her calf.

The rangers use dog teams exclusively in the winter to do patrols and maintain the park. They have several cabins spaced a day dog sled travel apart, and go from one to the other on patrol.
