Sept 1st Cape St Mary's

On the south west tip of the Avalon peninsula in Newfoundland is Cape St Mary's which is renowned as having one of the largest Northern Gannet populations during chick rearing times and it is fairly accessible for viewing. We walked a 1.4 km trail and there they were approximately 60 feet away. Roughly 50,000 pairs come here each year.
