Sept 10 - 11 Shellburne, Bear River, Port Royal & Fort Anne

We visited Shellburne which was another quaint village which among other things featured a dory builder.

In their spare time they made wind jigs.

As we continued to travel around the southern tip of Nova Scotia we stopped at Digby well known for the largest scallop fishing fleets. Of course we had to buy some fresh scallops and haddock.

Carrying on we stopped at Bear River, a very crafty community on the tital flow from the Bay of Fundy.
In the Annapolis Royal Area are two fort historic sites Fort Anne
 and Port Royal
Near Port Royal is this intersting barn with weather-vane
