Sept 23 - 24 Hopewell Rocks

Back in New Brunswick we passed through Moncton and went to Magnetic Hill.



Hopewell Rocks is where you can get a good look at the changing tides in the Fundy Basin.
 This is high tide

 This is low tide (just for reference the opening in the 2 balanced rocks below is 18 feet tall. Kayakers do go through at near high tide.
 The rock formations with vegetation on top are called flower pots

These are some shots at low tide of the mud flats which extend for a long distance to the side of the Hopewell Rocks
